Sweet almond oil is a vegetable oil obtained from almond tree seeds by cold pressing method. It has a light scent and is similar to walnuts in taste. It is one of the most preferred herbal oils for skin care and hair care. Sweet almond oil, whose Latin name is Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis, contains 68% oleic acid, 25% linoleic acid and 4% palmitic acid. Sweet almond oil also contains plenty of vitamins A and K.
